A great week for anyone intrigued by the universe and human efforts to unc over its secrets. Astronomer Roger Noble returns t o give brilliantly illustrated talks and brings a powerful telescope for us all to try some practica l astronomy.

\n \n

The dates for this week include t he peak of the Perseid meteor shower\, the best an nual display of shooting stars. So they should be a highlight\, as long as we get clear skies\, of o ur evening observations.

\n \n

Roger's talks focus o n general aspects of the universe as well as some of the latest findings in astronomy and space expl oration.

\n \n

The week will be filled with activities fo r young and old.  Maybe there will be a future ast ronomer or astronaut amongst us!

Arrivals: from 3pm Monday - first meal is dinner at 7pm
