 benefits creativity and promotes mental\, emotiona

 anadian writer\, professor of creative writing\, a
 nd yoga / qi gong instructor who has lived in Engl
 and for the last 25 years. He is the author of 14 
 books of poetry and prose on such topics as Zen Bu
 ddhism\, Ecology\, and contemporary pilgrimage. As
  a long-time practitioner of meditation\, he integ
 rates techniques drawn from mindfulness practice i
 nto his creative writing classes and workshops. Th
 roughout the early 2000s\, Peter travelled to Indi
 a numerous times to study yoga\, and in 2005 he ce
 rtified as an Iyengar Yoga Instructor. More recent
 ly he has augmented that practice with Qi Gong\, t
 he ancient Chinese art of working with internal en
 ergy. Peter’s goal as an instructor is to understa
 nd what his students need to learn\, and then to h
