 r Othona relaunched its Membership scheme. So now 
 we are offering occasional events specifically for
  members to get together\, enjoy time in community
 \, and explore what 'belonging with Othona' in thi
 s way can mean.</p>\n \n <p><strong><em>Much Ado A
 bout Something</em></strong> is the title that Nor
 man Motley\, our founder\, gave to his book about 
 the community's early years. This weekend will be.
 a chance for Members - long-established or recentl
 y signed up.- to meet and enjoy a varied diet of p
 ast\, present and future Othona. Do you have ideas
 ? Are you blessed with skills you'd like to contri
 bute more to this community?</p>\n \n <p>We'll loo
 k at bits of Othona's history together\, share som
 e of our own stories and consider where the Commun
 ity may be going in future.</p>\n \n <p>The weeken
 d will include:</p>\n \n <ul>\n 	<li>a focus on th
 e heritage and future of Othona as an open Christi
 an community</li>\n 	<li>meet-and-relax time</li>\
 n 	<li>news and ideas from both Othona centres</li
 >\n 	<li>something special from our history</li>\n
  	<li>a Saturday Open Day when those members who c
 an't attend the rest can come and join in</li>\n <
 /ul>\n \n <p>This event isn't a decision-making fo
 rum\, but without doubt everyone from trustees to 
 core community teams will be keen to hear more of 
 the stories and ideas of a wide range of members.<
 /p>\n \n <p>Norman always said that community life
  combines work\, worship\, study and play\; there 
 will be some of all four as we meet in this 81st y
 ear of Othona's existence! </p>\n \n <p>NOTE: Bein

 for Othona's aims and potentially be more involved

  from 6.00pm supper on Friday 19th March to after 
 lunch on Sunday 21st. The weekend is priced accord
 ingly. <em><strong>But </strong></em>we welcome me
 mbers' presence in advance to help us prepare the 
 house and afterwards to put things back where they
  belong!</p>\n \n <p>So if you book for this weeke
 nd you will actually be welcome to arrive any time
  after 11.00am on Thursday 18th and to stay up unt
 il 11.00am on Monday 22nd. Just as long as we know
  in advance! And there will be <em><strong>no extr
 a charge</strong></em> - only anything you choose 
 to <strong><em>donate</em></strong>. Place your bo
 oking for 19th - 21st and we'll be in touch to ask
