e unique setting of the Othona Community at Burton
Bradstock. This is an opportunity to create and e
xplore spaces where all neurotypes can feel welcom
e and safe. The environment provides plenty of roo
m to accommodate everyone's needs\, as well as nou
rishing community building.
\n \n The whole
event will thrive on open discussions\, people sha
ring their personal experiences and willingness to
'bounce off each other' in order to increase unde
rstanding and promote acceptance.
\n \n This
event is primarily intended for neurodivergent ad
ults\, whether diagnosed or self-determined\, but
is open to anyone interested.
\n \n Your fa
cilitators will be Marie Martin and Debs Rose.\n \n Marie is a self-determ
ined autistic woman\, part of a family spanning 3
generations of neurodiversity. She is the founder
of BUILDING A NEURODIVERSE COMMUNITY CIC (BANC) an
d facilitates\, amongst other things\, a peer-supp
ort group in Bridport.
\n \n Debs has a diagnosis of ADHD and has benefitted
from belonging to an online community of neurodive
rse people. She is a Neurodiversity specialist coa
ch and co-facilitates BANC's peer-support group.\n
