Easter Celebrations

Easter at Othona is always a special time, and this year it promises to be just as special. A family orientated programme will be in place with egg painting and rolling for children (and adults), baking competitions, arts and crafts and much more.

We start on Maundy Thursday with our evening meal, which reminds us of all those meals Jesus shared with his friends and the unity that his Spirit continues to give us. On Friday some might like to join the congregation from Bradwell village in their procession from St Thomas Church to St-Peter-on-the-Wall Chapel, where there will be a vigil service. On Easter Sunday we will join with people from the local area for a dawn service at the Chapel, followed by a cooked breakfast back at Othona.

We welcome requests from those wishing to stay for fewer days than the advertised events, just contact us to find out availability.

Arrivals: from 3pm Thursday - first meal is dinner at 7pm

Departures: 11am Tuesday

Costs:

Adult Standard:                          £290 per person

Adult Benefactor:                       £360 per person

Adult Camping:                          £220 per person

Adult Camping (Benefactor):     £290 per person

Student:                                     £220 per person

Child 0 – 2 years old:                 Free

Child 3 – 10 years old:               £50

Child 11 – 18 years old:             £125

(Student rate will require proof either by showing a valid Student Card or letter from your place of Education.)

If you are able to afford the Benefactor rate please consider paying as it  helps to support the work of Othona and enables us to provide bursaries to those who otherwise struggle to afford to come.  If you are a UK Tax Payer, please advise on the form if you are happy for us to claim Gift Aid.  If you say yes, we then get a further 25% from the Government to help
