Being Real Together - An Introduction to Nonviolent Communication

An Introduction to Nonviolent Communication with Simon McKibbin

    Friday 29th to Sunday 31st January 2027

    BOOKING NOT OPEN YET!!

This weekend offers a warm, practical introduction to Nonviolent Communication (NVC): a compassionate way of speaking and listening that helps us meet each other more honestly, and with more compassion, even when things are difficult.

Facilitated by Simon McKibbin, the weekend draws on his Embodied Relational Presence (ERP) approach — weaving NVC together with mindfulness and focusing, so that what we practise is felt in the body and in relationship, not just understood in the head.

Over the two days you'll explore:

    •     Observation vs. judgement

    •     Feelings, and the needs beneath them

    •     Asking for what matters, without demand or blame

    •     Deep listening for the humanity in someone else — especially when you disagree

No previous experience of NVC is needed — just a willingness to show up, be present, and practise together.

Meet Simon; Companion, Coach, Trainer and Facilitator

For over 34 years, Simon has supported individuals and communities toward greater personal and professional empowerment through Mindfulness, Nonviolent Communication, and Focusing - practices that unlock our capacity to live more fully, creatively, and courageously. His work bridges inner transformation with outer change, rooted in active commitment to ecological regeneration, social equity, and nonviolent living through grassroots organising and co-creation.
